Why is Electrical Engineering a Difficult Major?

Electrical engineering is often known as one of the more difficult disciplines in engineering. But what makes this true? Most people have rarely or have never worked with circuits or electronics in their life, even before entering as an electrical engineer. You may know what electrical engineers can work on in the real world, but aren’t exactly sure what they do in terms of labs or lectures.

The biggest complaint among other majors is that when it comes to dealing with circuits, you can’t really SEE what is going on. You can’t see current moving through a circuit. You just have to turn on the power supply and hope for the best. So before you enter college as an electrical engineer just make sure you are prepared for what is to come.
