How to price an electrical job properly and ignore people who pull prices out of their arse.
In this industry we have to tolerate many naive persons who beleive that one cost fits all.
Here is a little calculation that I have used and has served me well in the past and up to the present day.
If you have found this remotely interesting and would like to learn more, then I would highly recommend reading ‘the SPARKS Blueprint’ by James Dewane. Although many of the other books I read are helpful James has already deciphered most of them (or more) and produced a book just for electrician’s.
If you want to work your own way and produce a work ethic that you can be proud of then the first thing you will need to do is learn to calculate your own prices and stop trying to win the race to the bottom.
