Hilarious pictures show the risks some electricians take to get the job done.

Not the brightest sparks! Ladders balancing on bins, wonky wall sockets and fans blocked by light fixtures – the worst electrician fails seen on social media.

Another tied three ladders together to finally get the job done .

It’s hard to know if these pictures show some of the worst electricians plying their trade in Australia or if they are so bored with their jobs that they want to make their lives more dangerous to keep themselves interested.

The pictures range from the perilous to the foolish as the electricians come up with new and improved ways of taking risks while at the same time as making a number of silly decisions.

Do they have a death wish or are they just stupid? It’s hard to tell as pictures show one man fitting a smoke alarm on a high ceiling with his ladder placed on bins and bricks so he can reach it.

Tall ladders placed precariously on or across things actually seems to be the order of the day if your an electrician. And the higher the ladder is up the better.

Not that any of this helped their workmanship.

There’s a circuit board that looks more like spaghetti and wall plug sockets set up far too close to each other.

While it’s hard to know who was the brains behind erecting a fan built beside a hanging light.

But whoever thought to build power voltage units where there’s water should probably should take up another trade.

It was a number of electrical fails – in one way or another – that would have been hard to believe if the photographs were not there to prove otherwise.

One things is for sure though, if they have been carried out by the same construction firm they’ll be going out of business before too long.
